The Special Call SY7ISDE it's over. We would like to thank the 6.000 stations, with their 7.500 contacts, for all this great time we had together. The winner of the International Six Days Enduro in Greece is the French Team, which worked very hard with bad dush conditions. CONGRATULATIONS !! We would like also to thank , all the operators, who made excellent work with very ...hot summer conditions, and very bad propagation. The DXCC is 119 countries from all over the world. We are very huppy to announce you that the contacts have done till today are 4.500 !! We would like to say a Great Thank to all the stations who calling us in fact 2,3, 4 times , in different or same bands and modes. We are apologise for not hearing all the stations due to very strong QSBs at 40 m yesterday and poor propagation. In the other hand we would like to say a Great Thank to our technicians and the Technician Chief of SY7ISDE Antonio de SV7CTX , who is working very hard with the antennas and all the systems, to have the right results of TX and RX in our contacts !!
"Antonio" said that after he heard all these people calling and congratulate us for the special event station SY7ISDE , has a surprise..... for the Greek stations and not only..... He said that maybe we will hear him at 80m to call cq cq cq...!! Ok Gents and YLs , we think we will enjoy him with his special way and humor. A way that will remind us a lot of good old times Radio Amateuring!! So STANDBYE !!

What is the ISDE?

ISDE in Greece

Greece is a true paradise for Enduro enthusiasts. The variety of the ground morphology which includes rocky mountains, forests, hills, rivers and lakes, in combination with the free land accessibility, offers unlimited choice of terrain and varying difficulty.

People involved in Enduro, truly respect the environment, having an excellent collaboration with the Ecologists of our country. Greece has extremely reach fauna and flora, and their protection is always a priority when we map out a race route (track).

Serres is one of the most important commercial centers of North Greece. It has easy and fast access from Macedonia Airport (Salonica) and Igoumentisa Port, through the new Egnatia Highway. The rich natural beauty of the Prefecture of Serres, like Lailias mountain and Kerkini Lake (protected by Natura 2000) in combination with the intense night life of the city, have made Serres a popular tourist destination.

On Lailias Mountain we can combine technical and fast tracks within one race. Mud, dust, rocks, streams, downhill and uphill trail through the forest… it is all there to compose unique scenery and an ideal terrain for Enduro.

The proportion of the motorcycle riders in comparison with the population of Greece, is one of the biggest of the world. People of Serres have proven their love for the mechanized sports and especially for Enduro. The local authorities support the Auto Moto Club of Serres in all their actions, in order to minimize ecology worries and maximize road and public safety during every race.

The ISDE 2008 headquarters, with paddocks, parc-ferme and Organizational Offices will be hosted in the Racetrack of Serres. The Track covers 600.000m2 and offers all the necessary amenities for such a great event. Moreover, the Cart Track nearby, which belongs to the Auto Moto Club of Serres, will accommodate the auxiliary services.

Our love for the Enduro, our experience in organising important events, our strong will in combination with the beautiful environment, ensure a most efficient and enthusiastic organization. The organisers of ISDE, the Auto Moto Club of Serres, have organised so far many great events (European Supermotard Championship Final 2003, WEC 2004&2005, local championships), all with extremely positive feedback.
